SCOTTSDALE RESORT & CONFERENCE CENTER ANNOUNCES “BEST OF THE BEST” EMPLOYEES FOR SECOND AND THIRD QUARTERS OF 2007
SCOTTSDALE – (November 2007) – General Manager Brenda Weskamp of the Scottsdale Resort & Conference Center (SRCC) announced that six employees were named to the resort’s A-Team, SRCC’s program for honoring the “Best of the Best” of its employees.
In 2005, Benchmark Hospitality International, which manages the resort, launched a company-wide “Best of the Best” initiative to reward outstanding employee performance. Exemplary employees are selected each quarter for induction into the SRCC A-Team. These employees reap benefits such as a $20 room rate at other Benchmark properties, an annual bonus when the property achieves budgeted goals, two $50 savings bonds per year, two extra vacation days per year, and more. They also receive a cash award of $100, a certificate and pin, and commendation letters from both the resort’s general manager and Benchmark’s Chairman, Burt Cabanas.
