The Scottsdale Resort & Conference Center is a firm believer that active corporate citizenship can make a valuable contribution to our community by supporting social, educational and cultural programs. As a property under the management of Benchmark Hospitality International, we are very proud to be a part of Benchmark's Hometown Hospitality Caring for Our Communities initiative that encourages the people who are the heart of its properties to reach out to improve the communities in which they live, learn and play.
At SRCC, our Culture Committee takes the leading role in developing, organizing and administering our Caring for Our Community projects. Culture Committee is a rotating volunteer group of hourly and salaried employees who meet, at least monthly, to promote outstanding product and service delivery to every guest, every time. The Committee has three primary functions:
- To review problems, recommend solutions and suggest ideas for improvement.
- To promote an environment of communication that crosses organizational lines creating a more informed, cohesive team.
- To plan and execute events and programs that contribute to employee motivation, including identifying and promoting community involvement opportunities.
This dedicated group of individuals has inspired all of our employees to enjoy the benefits of active participation in a culture of giving.
